Historic Hideaway is a charming renovated historic home built in 1900 with spacious indoor and outdoor areas to enjoy St. Augustine to the fullest. Our goal is to create a relaxing haven for everyone in your group (including you mom!). We love our fur babies at the Historic Hideaway and we’re so happy to create a rental that has great amenities for those traveling with their dogs. We do ask that all dogs stay off the furniture – this is to help us keep the furniture damage-free and free from extra wear and tear.

The house includes all amenities. Private heated pool, hot tub, bbq, fire table, washer/dryer, kitchen, living and dining areas. Outdoor yard with artificial grass, and patio furniture. The yard is fully fenced.

**Pool temperatures are impacted by weather under 60 degrees. The pool is heated and does a great job, but please understand we may not be able to accommodate higher temperatures during extreme low temps for this region. We encourage you to communicate any requests well prior to your arrival.

Want to live on the edge? There are a couple of rental shops nearby where you can rent surfboards, paddle boards, snorkeling gear, you name it! Deep sea fishing charters and boat rentals are also available in multiple places throughout town. Delivery bike rentals available via a local company. Contact me for recommendations.

LAUNDRY SERVICE: We have laundry machines in the house but on vacation, it's up to you if you want to do laundry at all! If you would like to partake, our brand new commercial laundromat The Queen's Laundry is offering pick up and drop off wash-dry-fold service to the St. Augustine area. The cost is per pound and they will work out payment with you directly. They simply ask for 1 day's advanced notice for a pickup request and a 24 hour turnaround time for completing and returning your laundry. Ask us for more information!

**GOOD NEIGHBOR POLICY** Please note that we are located in a residential neighborhood, so we ask that all guests be good neighbors.

NO EVENTS OR PARTIES:  Guests hosting large parties or meetings without advance notice and approval will be required to forfeit the remainder of their stay with no refund, and will be assessed a minimum $500 additional cleaning fee. Please be aware that if you book this listing and attempt to have a party or event secretively, we will also report you to the booking site and you will have to deal with the consequences as they see fit. We take this very seriously. Thank you for your cooperation.
